Facts about Dissociative Disorders and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress-Disorder (CPTSD)

On this page, I will display facts about CPTSD.

There is a lot of information available on the web, no doubt about that. However, in my opinion it is not always so easy to find it. And, more important, there is also a lot of misinformation on the web. For the fact-searcher this obviously is confusing. The mechanisms behind dissociative disorders are themselves hard  enough to get ones head around. Therefore, when choosing who to display on this list, I have decided to go only for resources which the health authorities in various countries recommended. I do believe that there also are other organizations capable to deal with this particular mental condition, but as a start, I strongly recommend to give the established state health network in your country a try.

Please bear in mind: Survivors of child trauma, who have developed cptsd, needs especially educated and trained people taking care of them.

It is crucial that everybody trying to help in these cases are fully aware of this fact.

It will take time to create a useful register, and please, if you know about a organization which fits the criteria above, let me know!

Thank you for reading!
